In the ever-evolving landscape of technology and business, staying ahead of the curve is not just an advantage—it's a necessity. Recognising this, the Made Smarter Adoption Programme has launched a groundbreaking campaign titled ‘For The Makers’ to boost technology adoption among small and medium-sized manufacturers in the North West. At the heart of this transformative initiative is Visual Architects, a creative powerhouse known for its innovative interiors and experiential designs.

Innovative Contributions:

The collaboration with Made Smarter enabled Visual Architects to bring a unique blend of creativity and technology to the campaign. By leveraging advanced digital tools and robotics, we have set a benchmark for innovation in event and interior design. This has not only opened new export markets but is also projected to double their sales over the next three years, showcasing the transformative power of technology adoption.

Campaign Collaborators and Impact:

The impact of the campaign extends beyond Visual Architects. In Tameside alone, six manufacturers are among the 49 in Greater Manchester to have secured over £1.1 million in matched funding for 63 projects, amounting to £3.8 million with private sector investment. This collective effort is expected to create 264 new jobs, further driving economic growth in the region.

Target Audience and Challenges:

The campaign targets 450 manufacturers across Greater Manchester, including over 30 from Tameside. These businesses face the daunting challenge of integrating new technologies into their existing processes, often hindered by limited resources and expertise. Through this campaign, Made Smarter and Visual Architects aim to bridge this gap, providing the tools and support necessary for successful technology adoption.
