Transforming Adversity into Opportunity
Just one year ago, Tameside-based business Visual Architects, a leader in immersive decor and experiential design, faced what seemed to be an insurmountable challenge. On 22nd January 2024, a devastating fire destroyed its production facilities and offices on Stockport Road and Meadow Street, Hyde. Despite this, Visual Architects has turned tragedy into triumph, emerging stronger and more determined than ever.
“At the end of January, we found ourselves in a situation I would not wish upon our worst enemies. Many thought we were done,” said Lefteris, Founder of Visual Architects. “But 2024 has been a journey of resilience, requiring quick decisions and steadfast determination. Through the unwavering dedication of our team, loyalty from our customers, and trust from stakeholders, we have not only rebuilt but advanced the company by two years, paving the way for a bigger, brighter future.”

Rebuilding with Support and Innovation
With the temporary support of Hyde Town Hall offices provided by Tameside Council and Secretary of State for Business and Trade Jonathan Reynolds, Visual Architects swiftly resumed operations. By May, the company relocated to a state-of-the-art facility in Denton, Manchester. This new facility is larger, more efficient, and equipped with cutting-edge laser cutting, printing, and recycling technology, reinforcing the company’s commitment to sustainability.
A Transformative Year
2024 has been an exceptional year for Visual Architects, delivering over 333 projects across the UK and internationally. Their bespoke designs have featured at global events and with leading brands, including Kendal Calling and Creamfields and for brands including SEAT, Boohoo, Adidas, Jet2 Holidays and Fujifilm.
The company has also grown its team, hiring 24 new recruits in 2024, bringing the total workforce to 63 employees. As a family business founded by Lefteris 10 years ago, with his brother Alex and father also part of the team, Visual Architects continues to foster a collaborative and inclusive culture.

Supporting the Local Community
As part of its ongoing commitment to the local community, Visual Architects announced a new initiative for 2025 to support community development. This programme will offer opportunities such as free training courses, bursaries, and sponsorships to help residents and businesses develop skills and create new opportunities. “This initiative is a way for us to thank the community for its unwavering support during our most challenging times,” said Lefteris, Founder of Visual Architects. “Our goal is to help others rebuild and grow, fostering resilience and opportunity for all.”
